Meet Scintilla!

Scintilla was dying in a public pound in Italy. She is obviously not a Setter but she was with Daphne and Asia and we could not possibly have left her there. In fact, of all three, she was the one who so obviously neede more help. She would have died if we had not taken her. That's how she came to us...

Scintilla is positive to leishmaniasis and while she has recovered very well following a course of injections and the disease is under control, it has taken a toll on her mobility. Despite being a young dog, Scintilla moves around like an older one looking very arthritic and she is often falling and dragging hel back legs. We will be consulting an orthopaedic specialist for her and get a referral for some much needed physiotherapy.
