Meet Patrick!

Patrick was rescued from a pound after he was found as a stray. He had a very matted coat when we rescued him , so he has had a fresh start with a groomer’s "buzz cut." It might be short for now, but he feels a million times better, and it will grow back into a beautiful coat soon! His documents say he is 5, but the vet suspects he is a more distinguished 7 years old. Don’t let that fool you, though—he is still incredibly playful! He has already made friends with all the dogs in his foster home. He can be a little timid at first, but once he knows you are a friend, he will nudge you for a cuddle. He is learning the ropes of house life so quickly.

He is currently in foster in Hertfordshire.

• Leishmaniasis
• Brucella
