Meet Ennio!

Ennio can count his lucky stars. He was simply in the right place at the right time! At the beginning of June, he appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the countryside, right where the husband of one of our rescuers was working (The moment he appeared is captured in the video available here). There was no way he was going to leave him behind, so he brought him straight to the shelter.

He was/is in relatively good condition and has already been tested for leishmaniasis. We will be testing him again shortly, alongside a full health screening for all other diseases.
