Meet Elvis!
Elvis is a good-natured, affectionate boy with a wonderful zest for life! Active and playful, he has come such a long way since his rescue. Elvis was originally found in a shocking state, completely devastated by leishmaniasis, and has spent several months waiting in a shelter enclosure. Despite his difficult past, he has bounced back brilliantly, walks well on a lead, and loves nothing more than enjoying life—and eating everything in sight (with zero food intolerances!).
Elvis is currently in a foster home in South Yorkshire. He loves children!
This is what his fosterers had to say about him a couple of days after his arrival: "We took Elvis to our local reservoir. Once a month it is cafe day and packed with locals and their dogs. He showed no aggression to anything. Loved people. Loved kids. And was fine with any dog that came up to him."
Health
- Leishmaniasis: Elvis tested positive for leishmaniasis and has been fully treated. He is currently doing really well. He will need ongoing observation and routine health monitoring to keep him in top shape. His last test shows a low positivity and leishmaniasis is not active.
