Meet Bianca!

At just eighteen months old, Bianca’s life was nearly taken before it had even truly begun. Who could possibly want to poison a sweet, harmless young girl like her?

When she was found collapsed and dying, it was only thanks to a doctor who noticed her lifeless body and rushed her to the emergency vet that she survived. We braced ourselves for the worst during those critical days in hospital, but Bianca fought back with incredible resilience and made a miraculous recovery.

She is still very thin after her ordeal, but she is steadily putting on weight every day. Bianca is a slightly larger female Setter than usual, with the vet recommending a healthy target weight of around 20 kg. Step by step, meal by meal, this gentle young girl is getting her strength back and discovering how good life can be.
