Meet Gisella!
Gisella is a real sweetheart. She will be 4 in a few days and she is back for adoption. This sweet girl arrived in England last year and, after being in foster for a couple of months, she was adopted in Lancanshire. But she never really settled in her home as she was always very timid. After three months she had not even explored all rooms in the house and she would only eat very little at night. We were very worried about her. She is now back in her original foster home in Hertfordshire and doing very well. She is very gentle, follows her fosterers everywhere and gets on well with all other dogs. For her we are now looking for a home with at least another calm and gentle dog. We think that the fact that she was an only dog was the main issue in her previous home.
Before travelling to the UK, Gisella was noticed by one of our rescuers in a pound near Naples. She was in an enclosure with her puppy. The puppy had been adopted and she was left there looking very very sad. It was heartbreaking to see her, so we rescued her as soon as we were made aware of her story.
